I understand that there are things on Facebook that “liking” makes sense. These include Jonathan likes Nickelback, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. and there are times when you like things such as “The Guy Who Invented Milk… What Was He Doing With The Cow?” because that is funny, but it can just get to be way too much after a while.
This all started with the “Become a Fan”, and that just sucked. Person became a fan of “Staying Up To Late and Being Tired”, Person became a fan of “Getting Punched in the Face”, Person became a fan of “Running Out of Chocolate Milk”. These are plain stupid and not only do they make no sense at all but they completely spammed your news feed. So now we have all these people Becoming a Fan of everything and we really don’t care, and as time went on this has just kept getting worst.
A few weeks ago, actually maybe months by this time, Facebook changed “Become a Fan” to “Liking” which you wouldn’t think would change anything, but apparently a lot more people are keen to like something then to become a fan of it. Now we got even stupider things that are spamming our pages, and a lot of them still don’t make any sense. It doesn’t even matter if you like these stupid things, we don’t need to know if you like “Banging When Your Parents Aren’t Home” its just TMI(too much information). I mean if anything people are just going to get mad at you for filling up the news feed.
AND if the number of the people liking items wasn’t enough Someone thought it would be a good idea to make excruciatingly long pages; like the “Lets Count To 20,000 O.K. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc (only they actually do every number).” oh my goodness it could drive you insane! You were forced to delete even the closest of friends because they were spamming your screen so much, it was not fun and it is not fun, I mean seriously what is the point.
However, this is just my opinion on the subject. I think the worst thing Facebook has put in was the ability to like pages like these, but perhaps not, let me know what you think, post a comment.
