It’s about 12am Thursday morning and I really should be in bed, last night I was up until 1am reading a book I was being tested on that morning. However, sleep can wait, for I felt a great need to inform you all on the happenings of the past few weeks and of the things to venture this way hopefully in the near future. First and foremost I would like to welcome Jonathan (spock1959) to the site as a new article contributor. From the few sample posts he provided me, I can tell he is going to be a great asset to sl0rdonline.net.

I guess the next thing I should address is the reason for the site being so dead over the past few months and my disappearance over the past few weeks. All I’m going to say is that I was in the hospital for a week and was just released about three weeks ago. This is all I’m going to say about this now, but I can promise there will be a post later on explaining in more detail what all happened.

I guess now its time to talk about the main reason for writing this post. You may have seen from my recent tweets and the few sneak peeks that I have been tweeting out that there is a new theme in development for sl0rdonline.net. I have been working on this for about a week now, and I am happy to say that it is nearly completed. I have only a few small things to fix and one fairly big part to still attack. From the small amount of feedback that I have received from the few people I have allowed to see theme I can honestly say this is going to be the best theme yet! I am extremely happy with the way its turned out thus far. I have tried a lot of new things with this theme, with a completely new backend and a few small changes to the general layout of the theme, I believe that this new theme will make for a much better user experience.

Anyway, its time for me to head off to bed. Keep watching my twitter for more possible sneak peeks. I’m going to finish off this post by wishing Jonathan GOOD LUCK! :)
